Breathwork and mindset for the mountains

Monday, November 30 · 10am MT / 12pm ET / 9am PT · 90 minutes · Free

Most training plans cover miles and vertical. Very few cover what goes on in your head at altitude when you're nauseous, tired, and not sure you want to keep going. This free live session is about that part.

What we'll cover

  • Altitude prep you can do at home: controlled breathing and breath holds that get your body and nervous system used to low oxygen and air hunger
  • Training that covers more than long slow days: intensity, strength, recovery, and fast technical descents
  • Getting comfortable being uncomfortable, physically and mentally
  • Fear, control, and trusting your guides and your team
  • Why the summit isn't the whole story, and how to get more out of the days in between

We'll finish with live Q&A, so bring your questions.

Who's talking

Élise Maes Le Goff is a mind-body longevity coach based in Aix-en-Provence, France. For more than twenty years she has worked where mental and physical training meet. She teaches yoga, coaches ultra-trail runners, and is a certified Oxygen Advantage Advanced breathing instructor. She climbed Lenin Peak (7,134 m / 23,406 ft) with AWE in 2026, so the tools she teaches have been tested at altitude.
